Solution-Focused Brief Therapy — SFBT — flips the usual therapeutic lens. Rather than exploring problems in depth, it asks: what does life look like when things are going well? What’s already working? What small steps could move you toward that? Using techniques like the ‘miracle question’ and scaling questions, it helps people identify their own resources and build on them. It tends to be short-term — often six to twelve sessions.
