Jungian therapy — also called Analytical Psychology — was developed by Carl Jung. It works with the idea that the psyche contains both a personal unconscious and a collective unconscious, shared across humanity. Key concepts include the shadow (the parts of ourselves we repress), archetypes (universal patterns of experience), and individuation — the lifelong process of becoming more fully oneself. Dreams, symbols, and imagination play a central role.
